Taylored Accessibility Solutions Limited - Creating full and easy access to the community for everyone

About Us

Our company is based on the belief that access is vital to a community's well being. Our entire team is committed to providing solutions that will help people of all ages move around and enjoy life.

We are a family based company, based in Hamilton, New Zealand. Steve Taylor has an extensive background in Civil Engineering, having spent 20+ years working for Local Government and Engineering Consultancies designing and improving facilities for access. Steve is also an Associate Member of the Institute for Professional Engineers of New Zealand (A.IPENZ).

Steve and his wife Sharyn have two sons with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. After observing the difficulties first hand that they have in moving about in the community and New Zealand as a whole, Steve has joined forces with various accessible organisations to promote the awareness that 1 in 4 people in New Zealand deal with every day.

Those organisations are Lifemark, CCS Disability Action, and Be Accessible. With the power of these organisations, Taylored Accessibility Solutions can truly provide for a HOME (Lifemark) TO (CCS Disability Action) DESTINATION (Be Accessible).

An estimated 1.1m New Zealanders live with a disability, representing 24% of the total population. Add an aging population, and mothers with young children,it is estimated New Zealanders affected with mobility issues could be as much as 40%. Imagine increasing your business or service usage by at least 24% by simply improving access!

We would welcome the opportunity to deliver solutions that provide low cost, effective solutions to increase your business and provide opportunities for everyone.
